Summer Camp 2009: 150 children and teenagers meet every year for a weekend at the beach. The organization uses this opportunities to meet the new children in the streets and find out how to meet their needs.

Once more Generacion could be proud to precent ”nana de la calle”, a theatre. Children, teenager and young adults, living og still live on the streets has staged a new play, still under the title ”nana de la calle”. 350 students was atenting, and theirby learning about the life of a child living on the streets.

The 1. of May on ”dia del trabajador” – the international workers day, Generacion was on the streets of Lima fighting for the right of the children working. ” El Movimiento Nacional de Niños y Adolescentes trabajadores” gadured more than a thousand, protesting and demanding: ”respect for the working children”. The children of the house in san batolo, children from the former house en Rivera del Rio Rimac and children of the streets joint the parade.

In the Easter, like every year, the children of Geneacion come together in Plaza manco Capac de la cuidad de Lima. Here they have a ceremonia to remind the children the once new, who lost their life do to a life on the street. The children who wiches can get to hold a picture of the seesed at a symbol of the fact that they all still a in out precent life an memory and that they will not be forgotten.

With help from ”not for sale” Generacion has been able to sugure a house to function as ”veronicas house”. Here girls and young women can get a chance to change their life. Now Generacion is working on restoring the house, and everybodys is giving a hand up.

Students from San Francisco came for a visit wanting to learn all about how Generacion help children living on the streets to a bether life.

And the hard workers behind Generacion has worked out a proposition for changing the lovs of the rights of the children and the teengagers of lima: ” Desde la mirada de los niños de la calle” - seen with the eyes of the children living on the streets.
