San Batolo is a small town just beside the wathers of the Pacific Ocean. It is a perfect place for the children to use the beach and in the summertime the do just that every day. Especially they use a lot of time surfing, a thing possible because of the surf program in Generacion.

The Surf Program gives the children a new perspective in life, and changes their way of looking at the opportunities in life. It brings physical, psychological, and spiritual benefits, and has been one of the reasons why the children in the program have improved in school. The children are realizing that through surfing they can express themselves in new ways and be respected despite their past.

Recently after entering a tournament in Surf in Lima, Jefferson who has been in the programs of Generacion for many years, won in the sub 16 tournament. Yonny, Isac and Jorge Luis, who also are a part of the surf program in Generacion, went as far as the semifinals. Despite there past they have become on top on their world, giving them a goal in life as before they could not even be dreaming about.
